- Full legislative power passes to the Imperial Assembly of New Europe.
- President Elects Luke and Parker I take power in Secundomia.
- The Double-monarchy of Denmark secedes from Denmark.
- The President of the Federal Republic of Los Bay Petros, Adriansyah Yassin Sulaeman, announces 1 January as the New Year's Day and Online Day.
- Iego, after months of planning, secedes from Australia with no reply from the Prime Minister or Premier of New South Wales.
- The Republic of Markland is founded and secedes from the United States.
- The Duskian Empire is founded.
- 2nd - Democratic Republic of Cliff Island's independence day.
- 3rd - St.Charlian General Elections of 2010: Alexander Reinhardt is confirmed as Prime Minister of St.Charlie for a second year, with a total 65.1% of the vote. Socialist Movement led by Fabiana Gallo della Loggia gets 34.9% of the votes.
- 4th - Following the loss of the General Elections, SCSM founder Fabiana Gallo della Loggia resigns as General Secretary of the Socialist Movement, and is succeeded by Magnus de Armis.
- 6th - Republic of Voitokas founded by H of Halstopia. Secundomia initiates the Finland Project in response.
- 31st - Elections held in the Republic of Secundomia. Spencer I and Parker I are victorious.

- c.10th-14th - Ransacking of the Morkskovian Capitol Stockade by an unknown party, leaving few structures standing and warranting military action.

- 15th - Terry I, Emperor of Austenasia announces his intention to abdicate the Throne of Austenasia.
- 16th - Esmond III, Emperor of Austenasia succeeds Emperor Terry as Monarch of Austenasia.

- 20th - Legislative Election planned in the Federal Republic of Los Bay Petros. Later cancelled because of second civil war and moved to July 20.
- 21st - February 2010 Secundomian Elections held in Secundomia, Spencer I defeats Parker I and Ibrahim I in a landslide.
- 23rd - The Kingdom of Hoppalobindia is disbanded.

- 26th - Merenneitoja and Lower Secundomia formed out of the unorganized territory in Secundomia. Co-Presidents Parker and Spencer I approve Nate I's design for Secundomia's official flag.
- 28th - The Kingdom of Zealandia is Founded in Canterbury New Zealand.

- 1st - Spencer I assumes full duties as president in Secundomia.
- 2nd - The Technological Federation of Erephisia initialized.
- 3rd - HIH Princess Caroline issues an official claim to the Throne, stating that in her opinion she should have been asked to give her consent before Emperor Esmond III was placed before her in the line of succession.
- 6th - Überstadt is founded following the ratification of a constitution by twelve of its supporters.

- The Austenasian Civil War is declared after the failure of the Vestry Conference. Lord General William declares South Kilttown to be outside of government authority and declares war on Wrythe and all of Emperor Esmond's supporters. The Midget Nation-in-Exile declares war on the rebel forces, and the Socialist Union of Nemkhavia and Pristinia declares war on the legitimate government.
- The Micronational Union of Sport and Culture is founded.
- 8th - Austenasian Civil War: the Univist Republican Phoenix Empire declares war on the rebels. Eniarku, Neu-Karthaginia and the Kingdom of Sterling declare war on the legitimate government, but Eniarku withdraws from the war later in the day. South Kilttown is placed under martial law.
- 9th - Beginning of the Flaradonian-Solvoian War.
- 10th - Austenasian Civil War: the Solvo Federation declares war on the rebels, and the Zonian Confederacy declares war on the legitimate government. The Kingdom of Sterling withdraws from the war for the first time.
- 11th - Austenasian Civil War: the Kingdom of Angador declares war on the legitimate government. The Univist Republican Phoenix Empire withdraws from the war.

- Austenasian Civil War: the SUNP dissolves and withdraws from the war. Neu-Karthaginia also withdraws, but NottaLotta Acres declares war on the legitimate government and forms the Allied Carolinian Coalition with the Zonian Confederacy.
- 15th - The Republic of Nemkhavia forms it's first Government, under the leadership of Sir Marka Mejakhansk.

- Olland and Bizaraelia merge to form the United Principalities of Olland and Bizaraelia.
- The Royal Reformed Court of Inhumanity in the Royal reformed States of America indicts the three Olympic Security Services Inc. guards in the first Ceremonial Trial Royal reformed States of America versus Olymic Security Services Incorporated after the signing of Royal reformed King Wilary the First Decree Number Two.
- 18th - Austenasian Civil War: The Empire of New Europe and Ohio Empire both join the war on the side of the legitimate government. The Esmondian side now greatly outnumbers the Carolinians in terms of soldiers.
- 20th - Austenasian Civil War: The Zonian Confederacy withdraws from the Allied Carolinian Coalition and from the war. The Kingdom of Sterling re-enters the war, joining the Coalition in Zonia's place.

- Samana Cay transforms from a commandate to a fully democratic republic.
- Operation Annex is a success, adding several new counties to Middle Secundomia.
- 23rd - The President of St.Charlie, Whisky I, dies at the age of 15. State mourning is declared until the 27th.

- New Ollandic/Bizaraelian Prime Minister is sworn into office.
- Last monthly elections are held in Secundomia. After this, elections were held bi-monthly.

- Polls close in the March 2010 Egtavia General Election; Petya d'Égtavie and Douglas Richard remain as President and First Minister by a narrow margin.

- 1st
- Austenasian Civil War: the Kingdom of Sterling once more withdraws from the war, leaving NottaLotta Acres as the only member of the Allied Carolinian Coalition.
- The Republic of Petorio returns to activity.
- Parker I takes office as President of Secundomia.
- Resolution passes Secundomian Congress on the status of the Kingdom of Sterling, effectively making Sterling an autonomous yet subservient state to the Republic of Secundomia
- 2nd
- Austenasian Civil War: NottaLotta Acres withdraws from the war, dissolving the Allied Carolinian Coalition. The Kingdom of Angador also withdraws from the war, leaving the rebels with no international military support.
- Though having no grounds to do so, the Republic of Stravasalter declares war on the Republic of Ultamiya. Ultamiya does not recognize the declaration and ignores it.
- 3rd - Stravasite-Ultamian War: the Republic of Ultamiya successfully defends Fort Manhalia from the attacking Stravasalter forces, winning the first and only conflict of the war. The battle follows a coincidental meet between President David and a toddler at the fort, who aggressively attacked. Had the battle not occurred, the war could have dragged on for much longer and slowed Ultamiya's development to a halt.
- 6th - Kingdom of Starland makes its first appearance in the micronational community since its founding in August 2009 via Youtube; declares neutrality in the Austenasian Civil War.
- 10th - Aldrich Lucas proposes the idea of a micronation and the Students' Isocratic Oligarchy of Yabloko has its beginnings.
- 13th - Austenasian Civil War: Eniarku rejoins the war - this time, on the side of the Esmondians, honouring the commitment made from joining the Triune Alliance.
- 14th - The Republic of Ultamiya declares the end of, and victory in, the Stravasite-Ultamian War, seeing no Stravasite activity in over a week and a half following the Fort Manhalia struggle.
- 16th - Cabinet Crisis: Parker I appoints his official cabinet in Secundomia. Rahim I protests his lack of job.
- 17th - Cabinet Crisis: Parker I responds to criticism of his cabinet appointments. Protests begin to mount, marking the beginning of the Cabinet Crisis.

- Austenasian Civil War: Battle of Carshalton Park - victory for a small detachment of the Austenasian Army over rebel leader William of South Kilttown.
- Cabinet Crisis: Leospecsia secedes from the Republic of Secundomia as Seth I announces his intention to leave. Trial of Ibrahim I begins.
- The People's Republic of Eania enters a period of civil conflict.
- The Republic of Resoria is founded.

- Cabinet Crisis: Empire of Atlan and Erised declare their support for Parker I, further inflaming tensions with the Protest Group. Parker I announces "What Do You Want" program in attempt to assuage protests.
- Lisa Cassidy is elected 2nd President of the Federal Republic of St.Charlie by the General Assembly.
- Magnus de Armis, leader of the St.Charlian Socialist Movement, published the party statute and changes the name to St.Charlian Socialist Party.

- The Kingdom of Theodia was founded.
- The Ultamian Katane debuts. Though starting with only coins, larger denominations would be introduced later in bill format.
- 24th - Celebration of the Victory at the Battle of Gold Tree in the Zonian Confederacy.
- 25th - Cabinet Crisis: A group of prominent Secundomians meet and decide to forcibly exile Rahim I from Secundomia. Ibrahim I is placed on warning and issues an apology. Cabinet Crisis ends.

- Austenasian Civil War: the Republic of Orphania declares war on the rebels.

- The Royal reformed States of America celebrates the end of its first year of being an independent nation.
- The Federal Republic of BlueSkies, is formed.
- 2nd - Austenasian Civil War: Battle of the Grove - victory for foreign supporters of the Emperor over some foreign supporters of Princess Caroline that attacked them while training.
- 5th - The Confederation of Awesome is founded.
- 8th - The Republic of Secundomia annexes Southern Cipania, accepting the alliance offer from Westnitria.
- 11th
- BlueSkies changes government.
- Istoria captures an apartment building and a house nearby, but loses it the same day.
- 12th - A source close to Andersonian leader Daniel Anderson is discovered to have leaked secret information to state enemies. While the person is not fired, they fall in the Andersonian governmental heirarchy.

- Istoria reclaims the same apartment building and house that was claimed 2 days ago by Istoria.
- Former King Nik of Starland founds the Micronational and International Committee for Peace and Democracy and assumes leadership of the organization which would later be the position of President.
- 14th - Istoria hands over all of its territories, excluding the actual place, because of moving reasons.
- 17th - King Wilhelm-Rudolph of Ruritania passes away and his wife Anastasia of Ruritania succeeds him as the Queen Regnant.
- 20th - The Starland Republic (Drew Star Line) wins a resounding victory against the New Pamlico Federation. President Suzuki Leōcor's controversial use of chemical weapons ends the nine month-long Rice Lane War on Starlandic terms.
- 24th - Austenasian Civil War: The Treaty of Ruskin Road (2010) is signed by the Emperor, ending the war with victory for the legitimate government. William surrenders and Princess Caroline is sentenced to a week of exile.
- 25th - Premier Daniel Morris of Dorzhabad forms the Vanguard Powers.
- 26th - Istoria launches its first rocket.
- 30th - The Empire of Eleytheria is founded.
- 31st - The Intermicronational Environmental Year comes to an end, the Intermicronational Year of Peace begins.
June
- 1st - The Royal reformed States of America reforms into the People's reformed States Republic after the founding of the People's reformed Party.
- 4th-6th - The Democratic People's Republic of Eniarku holds its second General Elections for all Congressional Seats. The First Eniarkian Congress is dismissed. The People's President and Premier also appoint the new Cabinet Members. All terms in the Congress and Cabinet will last until the December 2010 General Elections.

- Leestani Soviet Socialist Republic formed.
- 9th - Union of South London Soviet Socialist Republics formed and Alex Ulbricht declared President, Leestani Soviet Socialist Republic absorbed as a province.

- The Democratic People's Republic of Erusia officially ceases to exist and is disestablished. Robert Lethler, de facto spokesperson for Erusia abroad, declares Erusia to have been, throughout its existence, a one-man nation and many political figures and journalists were just his characters. The collapse of Erusia is followed by criticism of several "older" micronationalists, including von Puchow, Reinhardt and Stewart who described the so-called "Erusian cyberbullying".

- 2nd - Hurricane activates its first constitution.
- 4th
- Trinity is ceded to Hurricane by William Danforth of Eleytheria.
- Fort Manhalia is officially organized into Ultamiya's third district and it, along with Shimate, becomes official territory, extending Ultamiya to 58,225 square feet.
- 5th
- Los Bay Petrosian third cabinet was inaugurated
- Third Constitution of Hurricane is put into action. Second Constitution is published.
- 6th - The Starlander Civil War begins after Lord Joy and conservative rebels overthrow the Royal Government.
- 7th
- HIH Crown Prince Jonathan, primarily representing Austenasia but also the Grove and Midget Nation-in-Exile, meets for the first time King Declan I of Moylurg and Copan. The Treaty of Wilton is signed, establishing national friendships between the five represented nations.
- The Starlander Civil War: Battle of the Garden in Star City, a small and the only battle, ends in victory for the Royal Armed Forces and the legitimate government, Lady Joy captured.
- 7th-14th - Princess Caroline serves a week in exile as punishment for committing high treason in the Austenasian Civil War.
- 8th
- Starlander Civil War: The rest of the rebels are captured and brought forward to face trial for treason; combat in the war is declared over.
- The Kingdom of Istoria moves on to new land.
- 9th-11th - The government of the United Aspinburghian Principality collapses under political instability. King Nik of Starland and UAP Prime Minister Stephen Paff conspire to place temporary control over the nation with Nik as 'Secretary-General' and Paff as 'Governor-General'. Paff and others are later arrested for treason and Nik later abdicates his titles.
- 10th - The Andersonian government announces the infamous "Andersonia First" initiative, which aims to pay closer attention to Andersonian needs than to those outside of the state.
- 11th - King Nik of Starland abdicates amid much controversy; Former Prime Minister Victoria Benjamin is left as successor. Nik takes position of Governor of Long Island in the former DRCI but resigns two days later. He takes up position of General of the Starland Royal Army instead.
- 12th - The War for Victoria begins after the Kingdom of Istoria declares war on Starland after it is revealed that Starland claimed territory in Antarctica that overlapped into Victoria Land. Starland agrees to cede their claim of Victoria Land over to Istoria the very same day. To date Starland has not acknowledged that there was a war.

- The Union of South London Soviet Socialist Republics creates the Antartican Soviet Socialist Republic, its first claim outside of London.
- Victoria is coronated.
- The Ultramarine Reglan Republic is founded.
- The Dictatorship of Dorzhabad is reorganised into the Republic of Dorzhabad.
- 14th
- Treaty of Vallejo is signed, officially ending the Starlander Civil War.
- The St.Charlian Government publishes for the first time after more than 330 days, the uncensored version of the St.Charlian Observer of September 17, 2009, with the article "Confessions of an Erusian Legislator".
- Istoria declares war on the USLSSR, because of territorial disputes.
- 16th - Istoria expands Latah Creek Province.
- 17th-19th - The DRCI becomes inactive after a second civil war and agrees to accept help from Starland. The DRCI is initially placed under indirect Starland protection as a Special Administrative District (SAD). However, the DRCI becomes the Kingdom of Emerald Isle with DRCI President Jackson Alexander as King. Starland relinquishes control but promises to provide protection or aid in the event it is attacked.
- 19th - The popular micronational Skype chatroom The Yellow Bear Micronational is founded by James von Puchow of Landashir and Crown Prince Jonathan of Austenasia.

- The Republic of Awesome is founded.
- The Kazzardist Republic of Anpix is established.
- 25th - Joe Foxon resigns as Wyke Liberal Party leader and terminates his citizenship, reforming Stigistan.
- 28th - The UPUC government changes to a military junta.
- 29th - The UPUC holds the first general election of the junta.
- 30th - Daniel Anderson decides to form a new nation within New Zealand and Australia, which will eventually become the Federal Commonwealth of Sirocco.

- Paweł Dworzycki becomes the Vice President of the Republic of Atlantis.
- The War of the Forest begins after UPUC declares war on Scandel.
- 2nd - The War of the Forest ends after the UPUC achieves victory in the Battle of Hazad.
- 3rd
- United States of Alba is founded/1st Independence day celebrations.
- Andersonian-A3 War: Andersonia declares war on the Anti-Andersonian Alliance (A3) and the Western Evanic Treaty Organisation (WETO).
- 4th - After two years of preparing, the Republic of Lostisland declares its independence.
- 5th - The Ultamian Legislative Council (ULC) is officially founded with 17 members.
- 10th
- Starland reforms from a kingdom to a federal republic after over a year under monarchial rule.
- Bethania founded by Enriqe V. Qeli and his government.
- Andersonian-A3 War: Andersonian documents are stolen by A3 forces. The documents will soon be recovered, although an investigation is called into how the theft occurred in the first place.
- 12th
- St.Charlie: the territory of Royal Beresford becomes a Federation. Annabelle Pincer, former Governor, joins the NPSC and is elected President. As a consequence, the National Party gains again, after 10 months, the parliamentary majority.
- The new Andersonian Simoleon (later renamed the Siroccan Simoleon) is introduced. It replaced the old GDR Simoleon on November 4.
- 13th
- The Atlantis Civil War begins out of distrust in the president, Alexander Virgili.
- The Imperial Guard of Valnorgrad is formed. This force to be in charge of the SkyMarshal's security

- Atlantis Civil War: Poseidon is occupied by the AnarchoCommunist National Liberation Army.
- Atlantis Civil War: The Republic of Ultamiya declares war on the Socialist Autonom Republic of Atlantis.

- Republic of Awesome celebrates Paper Flower Day.
- Republic of Agnorr receives their independence.
- The Andersonian Times announces that the Federal Commonwealth of Andersonia will be formed out of the National Capital District (later split into Jellicoe, Trafalgar and several other provinces), the Auckland Suburban Region (later Wellesley), Camina and the Tasman Districts (both since dissolved).

- It is announced that the Glorious Dictatorial Republic of Andersonia is to be dissolved and replaced by the Federal Commonwealth of Andersonia (later Sirocco) on November 4 that year.

- The Vice President of Federal Republic of Los Bay Petros,Aflah Alamsyah Dani was replaced with Muhammad Hady Faiz after his inactivity.

- The Runic Union holds its first Althing.
- The name for the planned successor of the Glorious Dictatorial Republic of Andersonia is changed from Andersonia to Sirocco.
- 4th - The Andersonian Broadcasting Corporation is officially renamed to the Siroccan Broadcasting Corporation.
- 5th - The Principality of Eruditia becomes the Illuminarchal Union of Eruditia, in response to Eruditia's rapid annexation of 3 new provinces.
- 7th - The Social Republic of Bethania formally declares independence from the United States of America, and without objection from the American government, the declaration is deemed a success.
- 9th
- The Republic of Awesome celebrates Helium Balloon Day.
- Republic of Atlantis has its very first Radio Broadcast. The news is taken with several critics from the intermicronational community, mainly Sebastiano Von Linden, who claim that the broadcast was copied from "St.Charlie Radio 1", who started broadcasting days before.
- The Siroccan Federal Party is formed.
- 12th - The full list of members to comprise the first Siroccan Board of Ministers is released.
- 18th - KMNTB Nation declares war on Istoria, following the Fraternal War.
- 19th - Eleytheria is accepted as a Permanent Territory of the St.Charlian Commonwealth
- 20th - The nations of Pimpville and Garden declare war on the Republic of Ultamiya.
- 21st - Pimpville War: Garden Nation surrenders to Ultamiya and declares neutrality after their territory is invaded by the Ultamian military, led by the President.
