Primaries

Both the Conservative and Liberal parties conducted non-competitive primaries. The March primary process was essentially a nomination call for each party, no votes were cast.

Secundomian Liberal Party

The Secundomian Liberal Party nominated Seth I for President and Citizen's Council. Seth was the only member of the party, thus he ran unopposed in the primaries.

Presidential Elections

The Presidential campaign was relatively quiet. The dominance of the Conservative Party became clear as Seth and Spencer received few votes. The two Conservative candidates Parker and Luke combined for 75% of the vote share. Ultimately, Parker I walked away with 50% of the popular vote, reversing the trend of the previous election against his leadership.

Aftermath

Although the elections were quiet and all candidates received an office of some sort, the Secundomian political scene would not be calm for long. Shortly after taking office, Parker announced his cabinet picks, leaving out some of the more inactive citizens. His choices resulted in significant controversy, kicking off the Cabinet Crisis.
