Seth I is a Secundomian and Voitokan former micronationalist. He was governor and founder of Leospecsia in Secundomia. He left Secundomia during the Cabinet Crisis. Seth also served as general and the Secretary of Defense for Secundomia in December 2009 before he became temporarily inactive.

Early and Personal Life

The most far flung of early Secundomian citizens, Seth was the only Secundomian (in the Republic era) not to live in Johnson County Kansas. Seth was an avid musician and played the Mandolin.

Micronational Career

Secundomia

Seth was an early citizen of the Republic of Secundomia, joining the nation before it had a name. Although only sometimes active, Seth played an important counterbalance to the generally conservative leadership of burgeoning Secundomia. An outspoken Liberal, when political parties were introduced to the nation, Seth formed and lead the Secundomian Liberal Party. Although other liberals existed in Secundomia, including Erised, Seth was the only member of the party. He ran for political office, often unsuccessfully. However, he founded his own state Leospecsia, which he successfully lead for several months.

He was generally disinterested in leadership within Secundomia, being satisfied largely with citizen status despite his disagreements with leadership. He was happy to participate on occasion, however, when a large political event occurred, he would request fewer notifications, complaining of the clogging of his email inbox. The Cabinet Crisis of mid 2010 proved to be a boiling point for Seth. After much infighting in the country, he declared that he would block all members of the country if they continued to email him. As Secundomia, especially to Seth who lived quite a ways away from the center of the country, largely functioned through email chains, this would functionally terminate his membership. Halfway through the Cabinet Crisis, Seth officially declared himself independent of the nation, dissolving the SLP and Leospecisa with him. This was the functional end of his micronational career.

Voitokas

Parallel to his membership in Secundomia, Seth was a founding citizen of Voitokas, a nation founded by his and Secundomia founder Parker I's mutual friend H of Halstopia. Due to an interpersonal conflict, H of Halstopia had kept Voitokas a secret from Parker and other Secundomian leadership. Through the Finland Project and cooperation of Luke, the Secundomian Intelligence Agency became aware of the existence of Voitokas and Seth's citizenship. The Finland Project remained classified until Voitokas went dormant, however, the declassification of the project ocurred after Seth's departure from Secundomia during the Cabinet Crisis, rendering any prosecution moot.

Electoral Performance

Seth I, despite leading the SLP since Secundomia's inception, did not stand for election until March 2010. The March elections were the first time citizens were eligible to run for the Citizen's Council, a new legislative body. The Liberal Party nominated Seth for the Council and for President. Although outnumbered, the Liberal Party candidate stood a chance as the Conservatives did not hold a primary, running 3 candidates (Luke, Parker I and Spencer I) in the general election. Despite the Conservatives splitting their voting base, Seth only received 12.5% of the vote. However, Seth did receive 6 votes for Citizen's Council, making him the first elected official from the SLP. Seth left Secundomia before the next election, abdicating his spot on the Council.
