The May 2010 Secundomian elections were held to determine the President and Citizen's Council of the micronation. Although these were first elections after the nation had erupted into the Cabinet Crisis, the campaign cycle was relatively quiet. The Conservative Party nominated former president and co-founder of Secundomia Spencer I to run against automatically nominated incumbent Parker I. However, Spencer dropped out of the electoral process in late May, surprisingly endorsing independent and Protest Group leader Ibrahim I, who had unsuccessfully run for the Conservative nomination. Despite this twist and latent dissatisfaction after the Cabinet Crisis, Parker I was re-elected President.

May 2010 Presidential Elections
Conservative Party Primary
In early Secundomian electoral politics, each party nominated a candidate to run against the incumbent, even if the president was from that party. Although Parker was a Conservative, the party was still obligated to search for an alternative candidate. Ibrahim, known for his vital and destabilizing role in the Cabinet Crisis and fresh off a non-verdict in the Trial of Ibrahim I joined the SCP to run for a nomination.
Former president Spencer I also nominated himself in the Conservative primary. By a vote of 2-1, Spencer defeated Ibrahim.

National
After receiving the nomination, Spencer shocked the nation by dropping out and endorsing his primary opponent Ibrahim. This was especially surprising due to Ibrahim's controversial status. Spencer, having forgotten that Parker was also running, made the announcement with the proclamation that Ibrahim had won the elections. He was swiftly corrected by Parker I, who was automatically nominated as the incumbent.

Results
The May 2010 elections lasted longer than anticipated. Due to extremely low turnout, several rounds were held that resulted in ties. As his term was running out and he was worried about an interregnum, Parker appointed Spencer as interim president for the first week of June. Eventually an election was held where Parker was victorious 2 votes to 1 and he took back the office of President.
May 2010 Citizen's Council Elections
Additionally, the May 2010 elections were set to determine the balance of the Citizen's Council, the lowest house of Secundomian Congress. At the time of election, the Citizen's Council was in a state of disbandment after the secession of Leospecsia put membership below 3. A lack of interest in political participation rendered the council irrelevant again in May. Conservative Party primaries only nominated Spencer and Parker. As Parker was elected president and forced to refuse his position, only Spencer was elected. One seat was insufficient membership for the Council, so it did not reconvene for the term.
