Hayland Department was the ninth department of the Slinky Empyre. Its population of 4 made it the second most populous department in the Empyre, after Iyabi Department.
Landmarks
Hayland Department was the only Slinky department with a capitol building, located between Hayden District and Anders District. North of the capitol was the National Forest hosting trees, many kinds of grasses, and animals such as squirrels and chipmunks. The southern parts of Hayland were residential areas for citizens.

Hayland in the Slin Revolution
Hayland was one of the original departments of the Empyre that joined the Slinky Republyc, lead by Pryme Mynyster Parker I, on January 16, 2011. After the dissolution of the Republyc, Hayland became independent as Slyndonia, with Hayden as its leader. By October of 2011, Slyndonia had dissolved.
In April of 2013, the former citizens and area of Slyndonia rejoined the revived Empyre of Slin, under the name Hayland.[1]
