The Order of Adammia is a chivalric order in the Empire of Adammia. It was founded on 10 June 2013 with the signing of Decree V. It features the ranks of Knight / Dame and Knight / Dame Commander.

In recent times, ranks in the Order of Adammia are generally given to the friends and family of the Monarch. Knight / Dame Commander is typically reserved for the Emperor's closest and most trusted friends and family, and can be regarded as part of his inner circle. General Sir Guy Crossland, uniquely, has an additional title as part of his knighthood, "Slayer of the Mighty Nokia", referring to an incident when he destroyed the Nokia mobile phone of then-Colonel Alex Hollis, which was made amusing by the common joke in popular culture that old Nokia phones were indestructible. By virtue of this unique title, Crossland could theoretically be considered the highest-ranked of the Order's members (not including the Sovereign), although Madam Becky Spencer-Smith was the first ever individual to be attain the Commander rank and thus could also be considered the highest-ranked by virtue of having held it the longest (though admittedly for only a few hours longer than Crossland, as both were given the rank in the Emperor's 2014 Birthday Honours List). The first ever individual to be inducted into the Order was Sir Samuel Grogan, though he was never promoted to anything above the rank of Knight.

The head of the Order is the Monarch of Adammia, currently Emperor Adam I, who bears the title Sovereign of the Order of Adammia. The Monarch alone can induct members into the Order, although the legislation that created the Order states that the Nobles can make recommendations. The words given by the current Emperor when inducting new members into the Order are:

UPON OUR IMPERIAL MAJESTY'S SOVEREIGN COMMAND By my self-given right as Monarch of Adammia and Sovereign of its most noble Order, I, Emperor Adam the First, do hereby dub thee Sir/Madam (Name) of (Place), Knight/Dame of the Order of Adammia.

with the "self-given right" referring to Emperor Adam's status as Founder of the Empire. It is expected that future Monarchs would use a slightly different variation.

The styles that come with a knighthood or damehood - Sir for males and Madam for females - can be used in conjunction with almost any other Adammic style or title, except for Imperial styles used by the Monarch, the Imperial Family and the Monarch's Consort. The use of the styles as a form of address is usually only used by the incumbent Emperor. As a form of address, the male variant remains the same, but females are referred to as Ma'am, a direct result of the legacy of Sir Jon of the South, once a popular figure in the online communities from which Adammia's early citizens were derived, but who vanished in mid 2013, shortly after the Empire's foundation (except for a brief return in April 2014). Even before the Empire's foundation, Jon jocularly referred to Stacey Barrett, now former resident of Creatuxia, as Ma'am, and this was soon adopted by the Emperor. When the Order of Adammia was founded, it was intended that Barrett would be one of its first dames, hence the use of Madam or Ma'am as an honourific for dames which survives to this day.

Most knighthoods and damehoods are granted as part of the Birthday Honours List, published on the Monarch's birthday. Emperor Adam I's birthday is 19 February.
