Metchlia was a province of the Empire of Adammia located in the region of South Adammia. It was 324m² in size and consists of three non-contiguous counties: North Astonia, South Astonia and Elgaria.
History
Metchlia was founded in 2019 from three counties: Astonia, Elgaria and Dankia. Dankia was dissolved in September 2020, and Astonia was relocated. Later that month, Elgaria was also relocated, whilst Astonia was split into two counties. The counties would all be relocated again in 2021, before all three counties, and the entire province, were dissolved in October 2022.
Etymology
Metchlia was named after the nearby Roman site, Fort Metchley. The Wazakhstani oblast of Metchleygrad also derives its name from this site.
