The Ministry of National Development and Culture is the government department responsible for the development of culture, scientific research, environmental protection and infrastructure in the Empire of Adammia. It was created by the Government Ministries Act 2017 as a merger of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Infrastructure. As of October 2019, it is also responsible for liaising between the Imperial Government and the provincial Local Councils. It was originally known as the Ministry of National Development, but was given its current name when it absorbed the Ministry of Social Engagement and Joy in March 2023.
The Ministry of National Development operates the Transport Network Agency, the National Communications Agency, the National Gallery and the Adammic Imperial Space Agency as child agencies. It also owns Adammic Online Broadcasting, the Adammic Express, Imperial Mail and the Imperial Publishing House, which are all government-owned commercial companies.
