The First Daniel's Ministry, officially known as the Thirty-fourth ministry, was formed on 1 April 2019, in the aftermath of the March 2019 executive election in the Abeldane Empire. This Reichsregierungskabinett counts with an absolute majority status in the Reichsversammlung, as it's a de facto national unity government, due to its member parties (Abeldane Social Ecology, Die Rechte, Royalists and Cooperatism and the Liberty Front) being the only currently active parties in the Empire, due to the inactivity of the Abeldane Liberal National Alliance (ALNA).
It was preceded by the Kârjasary cabinet (the 33rd ministry), formed by Social Ecology leader and former Vorsitzender Tarik Kârjasary and succeeded by the Second Daniels cabinet (the 35th ministry), formed by Daniels himself after being reelected as Vorsitzender.
Formation
Following the March 2019 executive elections, Edward Daniels was elected as Vorsitzender with a 1-vote margin against Nicholas Randouler of Die Rechte. It was widely expected that the Vorsitzendership race would be a tight race unlike the Stellvertretership race, where opinion polls showed that Charlotte Katrinsdottir of Die Rechte was leading by more than 10 points against her opponent, Ashley Jaax of Liberty Front. In the end, Katrinsdottir won the race with more than 60% of the votes.
With the result being that not of a Die Rechte-controlled executive, it was expected that the national unity government of Die Rechte, Liberty Front and Social Ecology would continue and both Freayth and Daniels publicly made it known that they were keen on continuing the current arrangements under the then-Vorsitzender Tarik Karjasary.
On 1 April 2017, Daniels and the entire ministry were appointed by Emperor Newton and saw minor changes with the portfolios and ministers from the Karjasary ministry, with the only difference being that of the Vorsitzender, Stellvertreter, the Minister of Media and Culture and Attorney General.

- Tarik Karjasary resigned as Minister of Orthography and Leader of Abeldane Social Ecology on 17 June 2019, thereby making the ministry vacant.

Changes
- Following amendments to the Abeldane Code, the Ministry of Culture and Media was abolished on 28 June 2019 and instead recreated the separate ministries of the Ministry of Culture, now headed by the Generalmememarschall who is Nicholas Randouler, and Ministry of Media, now headed by the last Culture and Media Minister, Connor Stumperth.
- Ashley Jaax defected from Liberty Front to Social Ecology on 14 August 2019 and tendered her resignation the same day as Member of the Reichsversammlung, thereby making the offices of the Minister of Orthography and Second Deputy Speaker vacant.
