The first Freayth ministry, formally the Thirty-first ministry, was formed on 27 June 2018 after Stephen Freayth, from Die Rechte, won the June 2018 federal election for Vorsitzender and was appointed by Emperor Newton on the same day along with most of his cabinet members.

This ministry was the first formed after the enactment of the 2018 constitution and the various changes to the composition of the ministries since July 2017. Die Rechte won for the second time a majority in the Reichsversammlung and was expected to form another lone Die Rechte cabinet but ultimately decided to form a government along with Liberty Union following Edward Daniels's victory as Stellvertreter.
