The Ministry of Orthography is a ministerial department in Abelden responsible for checking all grammatical errors and the creation of all wordings in official government documents. In addition, the ministry is also responsible for updating all MicroWiki pages related to the Empire.
The ministry was established following a major reorganisation of the Reichsregierungskabinett and is one of the permanent ministries established under the Government Ministries and Offices Act. It was formed through the elevation of the Department of Orthography, which was under the Ministry of Media and Public Affairs, to Cabinet level. The incumbent minister is Tarik Kârjasary, who took office on 23 August 2017.
Some of the responsibilities the ministry takes are:
- To manage all information about the Empire and the Commonweal in MicroWiki from time to time
- To manage and correct all grammatical mistakes on legislations, decrees, and etc
- To formulate wording for treaties, legislation, decrees and other means of official documents both in federal and state levels
