The Commemorative Medal of the Crystal Jubilee of the Foundation of Vishwamitra (Hindi: विश्वामित्र की स्थापना की क्रिस्टल जयंती का स्मारक पदक) is a commemorative medal constituted by Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya on 6 April 2022 in order to commemorate the occasion of the Crystal Jubilee of the foundation of Vishwamitra. The medal shall be conferred at the pleasure of the Rashtradhyaksh upon those who have made significant and most valuable contributions towards Vishwamitra throughout the phase of its development including members of the previous administrations, foreign nationals, etc.

Precedence

The Commemorative Medal of the Crystal Jubilee of the Foundation of Vishwamitra precedes below all national orders, state orders, and decorations. It ranks immediately below the Commemorative Medal of the First Anniversary of the Vishwamitran Monarchy, which was constituted in June 2021 to celebrate the first anniversary of the foundation of the monarchy in the nation.

Insignia

The ribbon of the medal is blue in colour with five vertical bars of equal width in three different colours. The two maroon and one white bar represents the flag of the Commonwealth (2017-2020) and the two bars in golden colour on the blue base represents the colours from the current national flag. The medal was co-designed by Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya and National Artist Jayden Dagsa.
