The Royal Service Medal (Hindi: राज सेवा पदक) is a state medal conferred by Vishwamitra. The medal was constituted on 6 April 2022 by Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya, only a week prior to the Crystal Jubilee anniversary of the nation. The medal is conferrable upon members of the royal families, royal household, senior officers of state and foreign royalties who have rendered continuous and unfailing loyalty and contributions towards the reigning Rashtradhyaksh.
Criteria, grades, and insignia
Criteria
The criterion for induction to the Royal Service Medal is reserved only to members of the royal families, royal household, senior officers of state and foreign royalties for their continuous and unfailing loyalty and contributions towards the reigning Supreme Head of the Nation of Vishwamitra.
Grades
The Royal Service Medal is conferred as a single-grade decoration with the rank of recipient. All recipients of the medal bear the post-nominal letters of "RSM". The medal ranks below below the National Service Medal and above the Civil Service Medal.
Insignia
The insignia of the Royal Service Medal consists of a medallion worn on chest. It is composed of a medallion which bears the royal monogram of Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya (the letters "DR") in golden under a gold royal coronet placed over a gold wreath. The medallion is suspended on a riband which is white in colour with two red vertical stripes.
