Parinita Das is a Vishwamitran politician serving as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Culture and in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting since 2024. She attained Vishwamitran citizenship in 2021 and was appointed a minister in the fourth Klarissa Sriraya ministry during the cabinet reshuffle on 15 June 2024.
Career
Parinita Das was invited to join micronationalism by Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya in 2021 and she accordingly attained citizenship. For three years, she never accepted any public role within the nation. In June 2024, she was appointed as a minister by prime minister Klarissa Sriraya in a cabinet reshuffle to her ministry on 15 June. She was appointed as a minister of state in the Ministry of Culture and in the Ministry of Sanitation and Public Health. The following month, she was appointed as Assistant Private Secretary to the Rashtradhyaksh, serving alongside Jatin Naik.
On 23 August 2024, the prime minister carried out another brief reshuffle to her ministry in which Parinita Das swapped portfolios with Rajia Hazarika. Das was divested of her portfolio of Sanitation and Public Health, and entrusted with the charge as minister of state in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, which was earlier held by Rajia Hazarika. Hazarika, on the other hand, was appointed as minister of state for Sanitation and Public Health.
