She is currently serving as the Regent of Purvanchal since 7 October 2023 during the period of the absence of her son as the constitution prevents a state ruler from discharging the duties as the monarch of their home state during the period of their reign as the Rashtradhyaksh. Her formal title is Rajmata Krishna Sriraya, Rajpratinidhi of Purvanchal.

Upon her appointment as the Regent of Purvanchal on 7 October 2023, she is known as the "Rajpratinidhi of Purvanchal". Since 2024, she is addressed as "Rajmata Krishna".
