The National Service Medal (Hindi: राष्ट्रीय सेवा पदक, Rashtriya Seva Padak) is a state medal conferred by the Government of Vishwamitra upon the approval of the Rashtradhyaksh who is the sovereign of the Vishwamitran honours system. The medal is conferred once a year, on the occasion of the national day i.e. on 15 April every year in order to recognize the outstanding contributions and services depicted to the nation and its people in various capacities.

The medal was constituted on 8 April 2021, a week before the 14th National Day by the Rashtradhyaksh. It can be conferred upon both citizens and foreigners for their service to the nation. The medal is designed by Abrams Wiucki-Dunswed, a national artist of Vishwamitra.

The National Service Medal was constituted for the first time on 26 January 2016 by then President Varuna Sriraya of the Friends Society to confer upon individuals for their service to the nation. The medal became dormant in 2018 and ceased to exist following the abolition of the republic on 8 June 2020. Only two individuals had been bestowed with the medal.

The medal was re-established with the same name on 8 April 2021 by Varuna Sriraya as the Rashtradhyaksh in order to recognize the services, contributions of the individuals associated with the nation.

The medal comprises of two grades: the Sovereign and recipients. The Rashtradhyaksh, in his capacity as the fons honorum of all national honours serves as the sovereign of the medal, while all are individuals who receive the medal are the recipients. The deputy monarch and the prime minister serve as ex-officio recipients of the medal. All recipients of the medal bear the post-nominal letters of "R.S.P."
