The Most Distinguished Order of Loyalty to the Royal Family of Vishwamitra (Hindi: विश्वामित्र राजपरिवार भक्ति मानपदवी, IAST: Vishvaamitra Rajparivaar Bhakti Manapadvi) is a chivalric and state order of the State of Vishwamitra established on 14 July 2022 by Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya. It recognizes the most valuable and loyal services of individuals to the Royal Family of Vishwamitra. It is at present awarded to men and women who hold high office or who render extraordinary and valuable, loyal and faithful service to the Royal Family of Vishwamitra.
The Order of Loyalty to the Royal Family of Vishwamitra precedes below the Order of the Vishwamitra but above the Order of Mahabali Karthika Padaka.
The order was formally disestablished through Royal Decree number 247-2022 issued on 25 October 2022 and was devolved into the Order of the Crown of Vishwamitra.
History
The Order of Loyalty to the Royal Family of Vishwamitra was constituted by Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya as a personal token of appreciation to the most valuable services of loyalty to the Royal Family of Vishwamitra which constitutes the five ruling houses of the nation.
Composition
The Rashtradhyaksh was at the apex of the Order of Loyalty to the Royal Family of Vishwamitra as its Sovereign, followed by the Grand Master which was held by the Uparashtradhyaksh. Below the Grand Master, was the Chancellor, held by the Prime Minister.
Thereafter follow those honoured with different grades of the order, divided into four levels: all having post-nominal letters. The order was exclusively reserved for citizens of the state and honorary citizens who have served the nation in any official government position. The Rashtradhyaksh and the Deputy Rashtradhyaksh, although being officers of the order are excluded from being members of the order along with the rulers of the other royal states.

Insignia
Upon admission into the Order of Loyalty to the Royal Family of Vishwamitra, members were given various insignia. Common for all members was the badge, which was an pentagram with a central medallion depicting on a green background the Crown of Vishwamitra in center. However, there were variations on the badge for each grade of the order: Grand Companions wore the badge and a sash passing from the right shoulder to the left hip; male Companions and male Commanders wore the badge on a ribbon at the neck; and women in all grades below Grand Companion wore the badge on a bow pinned at the left shoulder. Further, the size of the badge varied by rank, that for the higher classes being larger, and Grand Cordon, Grand Cross and Companions had their octagrams surrounded by a star: for Grand Companion. The five-pointed star of the badge represented the five royal houses of the nation.
The order's ribbon was yellow with green-red stripe edging. The ribbon bars bore rosettes to indicate the various grades of the order.
Eligibility and appointment
Membership in the Order of Loyalty of the Crown of Vishwamitra was conferred by the reigning monarch with advice from the Grand Master and Chancellor on those who had performed personal service of loyalty to the Royal Family. The rulers of the royal states were excluded from being the recipients of the order. The Grand Companion grade was conferred upon an individual who had continuously served the Royal Family with utmost loyalty and faithfulness for a period of more than a year, while the Companion grade was conferrable upon individuals who had rendered similar services for more than six months. The other two grades of Commander and Member were conferred at the discretion of the monarch.
