Heir to the Ebenthaler throne

In February 2021, during a private festivity at the Central Hill Palace, King Arthur II asked the then 10-year-old Prince Hector if he was interested in take an active role in the Ebenthaler monarchy's day-to-day affairs, as the young prince showed to be quite interested in geopolitical-related matters such as maps and flags, to which he accepted. Unbestknown to the prince, the monarch already had planned for him to become his heir apparent. Later that year, on 11 April, Princess Élida was asked by her brother to renounce her dynastic rights and her position as the Erzfelsian head executive.[1] In doing so, Hector succeeded his mother to the initial title of Prince of Bruges, whose territorial designation alluded to the House of Bruyn's original place of origin..[2] However, the title was soon changed to that of Prince Royal through a constitutional ammendment. Upon Hector's ascension as heir to the throne of Ebenthal, the Konkrëse convened and recognized his new position; he took oath of the Ebenthaler constitution on the day of his 13th birthday.
