Ministry of Information and Propaganda (Ebenthal)
|Formed||31 December 2019|
The Ministry of Information and Propaganda (Portuguese: Ministério da Informação e Propaganda) is a ministerial department of Ebenthal responsible for the formulation and administration of rules and regulations in the areas of information, broadcasting, the press and propaganda. The ministry is led by the Minister of Information and Propaganda who is freely named by the Prime Minister. The current Minister is the Count of Novesfora.
The Ministry of Information and Propaganda was created through royal decree by King Arthur II in 31 December 2019, merging the former Ministry of Information and the ministerial level Royal Department of Propaganda, both dating from 8 January 2015. Preceding the creation of the unified ministry, which succeeded its two predecessor agencies in all capacities, the Ministry of Information has been administrating the country's social medias, website and database, while the Department of Propaganda was responsible mainly for the development of visual and textual propagandas to encourage adherence to the micronation.
In 2017 during the Ebenthali Civil War and later in 2019 during the Mateusian Crisis the Ministry of Information has suffered from attacks on its database, formely using online drives and the NS Wiki. During the latter event, most of the country's archives and database were lost, and the micronations was almost dissolved and reintegrated into Brazil.
In late 2019, King Arthur II resolved to unify the agencies into the Ministry of Information and Propaganda for pragmatic reasons.
