Manifest Wegstany was a period in Weg history where the enlightenment of the Weg people led to a large territorial expansion and the end of the monarchy. The Kingdom of Wegmat government looked to expand north of its borders into a 1000-acre area operated by the Cook County Forest Preserve District. Soon after its expansion an attempt to overthrow the national government was made by a cyber-militant organization. The coup however was only attempted on online spaces in Wegmat and failed to have any major impact on the government. Cole Baird however wanted to depose the monarchy and found a full democracy. The Federal Union of Wegmat was formed as the kingdom system was abolished.
