Federal Codex of Wegmat

The Federal Codex of Wegmat is the codification of all active Federal legislation and Federal regulations in the Federal Union of Wegmat. It is compiled and published by the Records Agency of Wegmat.

The Codex was proposed to Wegmat Parliament in 2023. Its predecessor was the Constitutional Laws of Wegmat, a loose collection of legislation, mostly from the April 4th Acts. The constitutional laws have been outdated for a while and plan to replace them have been in the works.

The Codex differs from the Collection of Federal Laws, which is the collection of Acts of Parliament. This codex is a compiling of executive orders, acts of parliament, and regulations of ministries in federal administrative and statuary law. Because of the length of the Codex, the Weg Government narcissistically claims that the Federal Union has the most comprehensive legal system out of all micronations.

The Codex consists of twelve titles of 11 ministries. one of the titles in the rules of parliament is proposed by the acting chair, usually the Prime Minister. The Codex has 77 chapters and a total of 328 articles.
