Shineshore was a Town of the Empire of Austenasia situated in North America, bordered on all sides by the Canadian province of Ontario. Originally established on 13 April 2014 as a Crown Dependency, Shineshore was transitioned into a Town on 7 September 2014 along with New Richmond, before being ceded back to Canada on 18 November 2017. Shineshore was throughout its existence the only part of the Empire to have a coastline, bordering Lake Ontario.
The founder of Shineshore, Lord Rear Admiral Evan Keller, served first as its Governing Commissioner and then as its Representative in Parliament. Shineshore had a population of five, and was the base of Centuria II Ondiara, a unit of the Imperial Navy with four vessels and five enlisted soldiers. A small port for these vessels was situated on the eastern border of the Town.
