Appointer The Monarch on the advice of the Prime Minister

The Austenasian Minister for Culture is the member of Cabinet who is in charge of the Ministry for Culture of the Empire of Austenasia. The Minister for Culture is therefore responsible for the promotion and preservation of Austenasian culture, and the designation of national monuments and heritage sites. The Minister can also appoint deputies to carry out certain responsibilities of the Ministry, and may propose Artists Laureate to be approved by the House of Representatives.

Although the Ministry for Culture was founded on 25 April 2015, it was not until 9 May the following month that its first Minister, Lord Admiral Joseph Kennedy, was appointed. He was replaced two years later with the incumbent, Emperor Jonathan I.
