HH Prince Dionisiy I, known before 3 January 2020 as Lord Dionisiy Tezdzhan-Smahin, Duke of Lycaonia, is the incumbent Prime Minister, Representative of Theodosiopolis, Margrave of Harlemum, Governor of Laranda and Seleucia ad Cilicia and Despot of Trebizond in the Empire of Austenasia, the Sovereign Prince of Montescano and Federal Prime Minister of Lostisland. He has held several other governmental positions in numerous other micronations.

In Austenasia

Dionisiy opened negotiations on 19 February 2019 with Emperor Jonathan I on the prospect of joining Austenasia. After discussions on the form of administrative division Theodosiopolis would be, it was annexed as a Town by an Act of Parliament. On 15 April 2019 Dionisiy was appointed Chief Herald of Austenasia by Imperial Decree, the Chief Herald shall issue advice to the Monarch regarding heraldry, oversee the actual design and creation of representations of coats of arms, and to - with the consent of the Monarch - record, grant, recognise, regulate and deny usage of coats of arms. On 28 May 2019 a large piece of land under the ownership of Dionisiy was ceded to the Empire as the Territory of Laranda, and a second was ceded as the Territory of Seleucia ad Cilicia on 19 September later that year. Dionisiy founded the Fatherland Party in April 2019. In late 2019, he bought a territory near the city of Trabzon and applied for it be annexed into Austenasia as a Crown Dependency, being appointed it's Despot on 8 January 2020 by an Act of Parliament.

Dionisiy was confirmed as one of the two participants in the February 2020 general election, where he is running against Lord John Gordon. On February 12, he earned 23 votes to Gordon's 18 and assumed the office of prime minister the following day.

In Montescano

Pavlov was disestablished in 2018 following a final attempt for re-activity. Upon being completely out of micronationalism for about 2 years, Dionisiy became a Austenasian politician and nobleman, annexing to it the Town of Theodosiopolis. After a couple of months of being back in micronationalism, Dionisiy, Lord Krishtof von Drakon and another co-founder, founded a Sovereign Principality based on a fusion of Mediterranean and Germanic culture. The initial declaration of independence was written on 29 May 2019 and the same day the Statute, the basic law of the Principality was passed by the founders.

During the first months of its establishment the Pavlov was legally disestablished and the Pavlovian Union was founded by the Treaty of Mykolayiv, with Dionisiy I being the Union's first President. In June and July 2019, the Principality grew greatly in size, and the cousin of Dionisiy was declared the official Heir pressumptive. Soon after joining, Nedland was going into secession following discussions about the census and who counts as a citizen, this is known in Montescanesque history as the so-called "Gunderson affair".

In November 2019, the importance of the Dutch language and culture was officially recognised in the Principality. Dutch becoming the sole official language of Montescano. Between November 2019 and February 2020 numerous new counties were annexed.

In early 2020, Lord Kristiian Karolovych Nevtonenko, Prince of Khatterask became a member of the Council of State, he proposed an act which established the Rus' culture in Montescano. This Act was approved, albeit not having unanimous support like most Acts in the Council of State have. The position of Grand Pensionary renamed to Posadnyk, and the Council of State albeit in English staying the Council of State being renamed to the Державна Рада in Old East Slavic. In April 2020 a new Statute was passed by the Council of State, declaring the Monarch as Tsesar of Montescano and changing the official name of the state to Tsardom. The discussions amongst the Council of State was not without controversy as between the Optimates and Pavlovian Strength numerous conflicts arised, with the Pavlovian Strength faction even going so far as to vote on reviving the Empire of Pavlov. The conflict calmed down after the Monarch vetod the proposal on reviving Pavlov.

After a secession crisis in the end of April, Montescano reverted to her status of Principality and Lord Christoffel van Achterbergen, Marquess of Goedeweg-Achterbergen was appointed the regent to bring back order to the Realm. After being declared the regent, Lord Christoffel enacted a decree revoking numerous controversial Acts of the Council of State and the Statute passed little less then a month earlier[1]. This led to the resignation of numerous high-ranking officials including Yaroslav Mar. Lord Christoffel proposed a new Statute to the Council of State, restoring the Principality in the same state as it was as in December 2019, albeit with numerous more territorial claims.

In Pavlov

Since the end of the Pavlov crisis, the then House of Karapavlovič has been operating a House in Exile, and numerous proposals were delivered by the former citizens to reestablish Pavlov. The House in Exile, and in particular the Emperor, and the Federal Government of Lostisland developed amicable relations, however up to 14 September 2014 a compromise was never reached. On this day the House of Karapavlovič asserted sovereignty over the antarctic claims of the former Grand Principality of Snezhanopol and the state was within minutes recognized by the Federal Republic of Lostisland.[2][3]

Dionisiy has been criticised by many for his Autocratic and (religiously) conservative policies, however he was being praised by the Pavlovian citizens. With them in 2015 - while still Grand Prince - deciding to grant to him the titles of Imperator and Augustus,[4] he reformed the Grand Principality into the Empire of Pavlov. During his reign, Pavlov co-hosted multiple events in the russophone micronation community, a constitution was passed and national symbols were developed. In October 2016 he unified all territories under his reign (with the exception of Gaston) into the then Empire of Pavlov, with various states joining the Empire becoming Themes.

Dionisiy developed Pavlov up to a level that it could have been classified as a historical simulation of the medieval Rus principalities, Russia under Ioann Grozny, and the Roman Empire. as such, he reintroduced the Oprichnina[5] and the Julian Calendar.[6] He also officially supported the Flat Earth theory in his capacity as Emperor, and enforced many bans, such as on atheism, shaving, and communism.

Ancestry

Dionisiy claims descent from various royal and imperial dynasties. The royal descent of Dionisiy is both through the paternal and maternal lines, with most of the descent coming through the marriage of Tsar Simeon II Bekbulatovich and his Rurikid wife Princess Anastasia Ivanovna Mstislavskaya (a great-great granddaughter of Grand Prince Ivan III of Moscow. Dionisiy can also claim the Altan urag, meaning "Golden lineage" as a direct descendant of Genghis Khan through paternal and maternal lines.
