Wegmat and US Law Enforcement has had several interactions causing citations to Weg citizens. The first and second interactions were during the Great Des Plaines Valley War. On the second day of the GDPVW, Cook County Forest Preserve Police showed up and fined two people involved with military operations that day. The Altenheimer Incident involved two explorers detained by the Forest Park police for trespassing on the Altenheim site. The third incident involved two employees of Lerkshire who were working on construction in Bushwood. The Maywood Police Department got a call of trespassers on the abandoned property on which the city of Bushwood is located. The two employees were searched by the police and told to leave and never come back, this led to the closure of Bushwood's international port of entries on week days from 11-5.
