The Statistics Secretary is a position within the Grand Unified Micronational. The position was established on 31 July 2016. On 1 May 2017, the office of the Statistics Secretary was expanded, with the creation of the Secretariat for Statistical Research. Officially, the stated purpose of the role is to "Conduct statistical research on member states and update Micropages."

Thirteen people have held the position of Secretary of Statistical Research, which since 26 January 2022 has now been part of the Communications Secretary.

Over the course of the position's history, thirteen individuals have held the position across sixteen GUM terms. The position was left vacant during Adam Belcher's fourth term as GUM Chair. Otto Gillespie Birch, the sixth Statistics Secretary, held the position for two terms, the first person in the position to do so.
