The Election for the Chair of the Grand Unified Micronational was held on 11–18 June 2016. It was the GUM's twenty-fourth round of elections. It was the first election to be held under the current GUM Charter, following the organisation's revitalisation.
Ó Cathail's victory over Clark is the most decisive of any GUM election in the modern era (i.e. post-Lethler).
