The Secretariat for Asia Affairs is a position in the GUM to "improve the position of Asian members within the GUM, and promote Asian diplomacy". Created on 2 January 2021, it is the newest position in the GUM. Dhrubajyoti Roy is the only person thus far to have held the position, serving since 2 January 2021.
