Queen Amelia I, is the current ruling Queen of the Kingdom of Lytera, Empress of the Commonwealth of Essexia in exile, Colonial Governess of Sequeria, Colonial Governess of Lur and Member of the General Assembly of Cycoldia. She was previously a Grand Duchess under the regency council, but after the civil war, she gained the throne. Amelia's reign has seen the state transform from a joke between family to a sovereign nation. She was also one of the longest serving consecutive members of the executive of the GUM, being in office in one form or another from 2020 to 2023, and still serves as a mentor.

Early Life and Clubhausia

Amelia was born in London on the 3rd of October, 2002. In 2008, she helped co-found the Republic of Clubhausia. While the nation flourished, Amelia felt it best to create his own nation to engage in realistic trade, and so the Kingdom of Lytera was born, ruled by her and her brother Matthew as Grand Dukes. It remained in a personal union with Clubhausia until it's civil war in late 2013. Due to this, Lytera broke away from Clubhausia and remained neutral in the conflict that shook the region. This neutrality, which involved trade deals with both sides of the civil war, was enforced until July 2014, where the StonePark Telegram was intercepted, calling for war on Lytera to stop trading to the other side. Lytera promptly joined the war, though as it was a demilitarised nation, Duchess Amelia enlisted in the Lorentian army to combat Fizona.

However, changing views over the course of the summer and closer contact with Fizona led Lorentia to switch sides and support Fizona. When the seize fire occurred a year later, Lytera backed Fizona's claims. In the end, a white peace was declared, and everyone relinquished her claims on the Clubhaus area. At the next meeting at the ruins of Clubhausia, Lorentia kickstarted the war again, with a Lyteran victory. This minor skirmish was not considered a Lyteran military involvement, even though only Lytera and Lorentia were involved. Fizona and Lorentia, and the other warlords who broke away from Clubhausia all collapsed in 2016 or beforehand, not long after the skirmish. Until 2017, Lytera was in a state of relative dormancy. This was, until, the fateful day of 19 August 2017.

Civil War

Matthew proclaimed he was the sole ruler on his 10th birthday, shocking many. Amelia decided to remain loyal to the crown, but after many reckless choices and being arrested by the King, she declared war on the King with the backing of the royal family, documented in the Lyteran War of the Crown. After the short war, she were crowned in the ruins of the Royal Gardens.

Diplomacy and Peace

Amelia has led Lytera through a period of stability and peace, with no contesting for power. In 2018, she unveiled the Airforce and Navy, and the artificial Lake Koi. She has also been on many diplomatic trips to spread the word of his nation.

In 2020, she became a Lady in Essexia as the Minister of Health. After the 1st of July Civil War in Essexia, she was made a Princess, and became Minister for Justice in 2021 after successfully handling the Coronavirus pandemic. In 2021, she became an official citizen of Cycoldia, running as a monarchist and becoming a member of the General Assembly of Cycoldia. She also represented the macronation of Syria at the NHSMUN in 2020. In the 2021 September coup, Amelia was removed from power in Essexia, though maintains a claim to the Essexian throne and her title. In December 2021, Amelia claimed the Throne of Essexia, citing the fact that neither Becky nor James, who she originally declared her intent to support, had made a claim.

Amelia is bisexual and transgender, which she has publicly stated before.
