The Battle for Lytera IV, also known as The Winter Soldier, is the fourth episode of The Battle for Lytera produced by the Royal Lyteran Broadcasting Company. It was released on August 25, 2021.
Plot
In a flashback to 1945, Nonna and Kay are fighting Nazi General Danos Großerschwanz and his Nazi Officers in the skies over Svalbard, defeating them, but Danos suicide tackles Nonna, knocking her into the ocean and himself onto a rock, killing him as Kay can only stare in horror. In the present, Amelia finally meets up with Kay in Orly and briefs her on the events of Episode 3, before a sniper attacks them - unseen by the heroes, who evade her by hiding in a church, this sniper is none other the Nonna - "The Winter Soldier". In the church, they meet Tony Blair, who lives in the church with his oil barrels, who refuses to aid them until Margaret Thatcher arrives and attempts to kill the group. Meanwhile, the Vanguard, Maho, Tanya and Kim are on the boat to Italy when a meteor hits, knocking everyone out. Darjeeling wakes and discovers an extraterrestrial magician named Rikka accidentally hit them with her ship. Rikka agrees to help them on the condition they stop Fairy Godmother at some point, before fixing the ship and going to Orly. Margaret corners Tony, Amelia and Kay on a bridge in Grove Park before Nonna arrives, attacking Thatcher, who retreats. Kay tries to get through to Nonna, but Koba calls up, issuing a codeword to get Nonna to attack. Nonna almost kills Kay and Rikka, who arrives in the middle of the fight, but Tony knocks her out with a oil drum. Waking at a hotel room, where Kay and Nonna make peace - with Koba's device to call her destroyed, the group plans to hunt him down at his secret base of "Красная комната". In Rome at Wonka's Tower (separate to his factory) Nute and Wonka argue before they move into Mussolini's secret bunker for their nefarious deeds and to hide from the Vanguard. In a final shot at Красная комната, Koba talks to his guards, before revealing himself as Stalin, Dictator of the USSR, who vows revenge on everyone who wronged him, planning to get Nonna back so as to take over the world.
Production
Production of the episode began back in June 2021, with a script being written, but due to work related reasons production stalled, passing the original planned airdate of July 30, before being finished in late August.
