The Friendship Star (Lingua Franca Nova: Estrela de la amia) is an award bestowed by the Sovereign Princess of the Principality of Sancratosia to recognize friendship with the Principality of Sancratosia. It is usually awarded to foreign heads of state but it can be awarded to citizens of other nations as well as Sancratosians.

It was established on 21 May 2023 by Princess Cloe along with the other reforms of the honours system and in preparation for MicroCon 2023.

It is the only medal that is designed to be worn as a pin and not with a ribbon, although one exists within the honours system of Sancratosia.

Design

The star features a red 8 pointed star with, in its centre, a quartered pattern red and white, representing the flag of Sancratosia. It is surrounded by the following inscriptions : Estrela de la amia (English: Friendship Star), on the upper half, and Prinsia de Sancratosia (English: Principality of Sancratosia) on the lower half.

Recipients

The medal was awarded for the first time at MicroCon 2023.
