The Sancratosian identity card (Lingua Franca Nova: Carta de identia sancratosian) is the identity document issued to citizens in Sancratosia. The card is issued in the name of the Sovereign Princess of Sancratosia by the Mayor of Sancratosia.

It used to consist of two separate identity cards, with a different design for nationals and residents. Since October 2024, a single card is issued to citizens, regardless of their citizenship category.

Sancratosia first issued separate identity documents to its two categories of citizens, nationals and residents, with both cards having a different design.

On 30 May 2024 (2024-05-30), the Principality changed its national identification numbering system.

On 1 October 2024 (2024-10-01), Sancratosia formalized its issuance of identity documents and established the single identity card. The newly designed card was unveiled as part of the celebrations surrounding the third year anniversary of Sancratosia.

Application and issuance

Identity documents are issued, in the name of the sovereign, by the Mayor of Sancratosia, according to Sovereign Ordinance no 168.

Application

Applications for identity cards is made through ePorteta, the online portal reserved to citizens of Sancratosia.

Fees

The fee for an identity card issued in Sancratosia is SNI 60◊. All fees are payable in Sancratosian impresas.

Sancratosia offers the possibility for citizens to print the card themselves at a reduced cost.

Physical appearance

Front

The front of the card features the name of the card "CARTA DE IDENTIA – SITADANIA SANCRATOSIAN" and some identification information :

• Picture of the identity card titular
• Full name (Nom completa)
• Gender (Jenero)
• Citizenship (Sitadania)
• Place of birth (Loca de nase)
• Date of birth (Data de nase)
• Citizenship identifier (Identifiante de sitadania)

Back

The back of the card features information related to the issuance of the card :

• Document number (Numero de documento)
• Issuing authority (Autoriosa), the Municipality of Sancratosia
• Contact (Contata), with the email address for the Municipality
• A machine-readable zone (MRZ) compliant with the ISO/IEC 7501-1 standards

Recognition

Organizations

The Laurentian Micronational Cooperative Union members recognize the identity card.

Some member states have adopted identity cards with a similar design to facilitate identification of member states citizens.

Micronations

Sancratosian identity cards are de facto recognized by many micronations.
