The Sancratosian Aerospace Agency, officially the Aerospace Agency of Sancratosia or AAS (Lingua Franca Nova: Ajenteria airospasial de Sancratosia), is the governmental agency responsible for the administration of aerospace research in the Principality of Sancratosia.
It operates under the administrative oversight of the Ministry of Economy under the Department of Innovation.
The agency represents the Principality of Sancratosia in the International Aerospace Community, fostering collaboration and contributing to global aerospace initiatives.
History
The Sancratosian Aerospace Agency was established on 10 April 2022, with a specific mandate focused on aerospace research. Since 17 June 2022, the AAS has represented Sancratosia in the International Aerospace Community.
Programs and missions
Oserva program
The Oserva program is dedicated to Earth-based aerospace experiments, primarily through observation and participation in the SETI@home volunteer computing network.
2024 Solar eclipse
The AAS organized the observation day for the total solar eclipse of 2024 in Sancratosia. This total eclipse is notable as it is the first to occur over Sancratosia since 1932 and the last one expected until 15 July 2205.[1] The AAS designed a special emblem to commemorate this event.
Lansa program
The Lansa program focuses on the development of rocket launching missions.
