The University of Sancratosia (Lingua Franca Nova: Universia de Sancratosia, UdS), is a public research university based in the Principality of Sancratosia.

The university was founded on 1 January 2023 (2023-01-01). It offers Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees. These degrees have little to no recognition outside of Sancratosia.

It is a state corporation responsible to the Ministry of Society under the Department of Education.

Since its foundation, the University of Sancratosia is managed by faculties, called scolas universial (English: university schools):

  • Faculty of Arts (Scola universial de Artes)
  • Faculty of Communication (Scola universial de Comunica)
  • Faculty of Human sciences (Scola universial de Siensas umana)
  • Faculty of Law (Scola universial de Lege)
  • Faculty of Management (Scola universial de Maneja)
  • Faculty of Political sciences (Scola universial de Siensas political)

Honorary degrees

Like many universities, the University of Sancratosia grants honorary degrees to people by waiving its usual requirements. The degree is usually a doctorate unless stated otherwise. It grants the recipients the use of the post-nominal letters "DDO".

The university recommends that its honorary degrees be listed in recipients' curriculum vitae as an award and not as an actual diploma.
