The Coat of arms of Sancratosia is the symbolic representation of the House of Sancratosia, the current reigning house of the Principality of Sancratosia. It is one of the national symbols specifically mentioned in the Constitution.
Blazon
The Constitution does not specify an official blazon for the coat of arms, nor does the House of Sancratosia. It is assumed to be as follows:
- Checky gules and argent, surrounded by the Order of Sancratosia; for a Crest, the Sovereign Crown; for Supporters, dexter and sinister, a Canada goose proper. Motto "Monarcia bonvolente" in the compartment below the shield. Behind the shield, a mantle Gules lined ermine, ensigned with the Sovereign Crown.

Crown | The Heraldic Crown of Sancratosia stands atop the escutcheon and represents the Sovereign power given by the people of Sancratosia to the Sovereign Family.[1]
Escutcheon | The escutcheon of Sancratosia is checky red and white; this pattern is the basis of the banner of arms. The checkered pattern represents constancy and order.[2]
Order | The Order of Sancratosia surrounds the escutcheon. Its motto is "Fa bon" (English: Do good), and it is the highest state award.[3]
Motto | The motto of Sancratosia is "Monarcia bonvolente" (English: Benevolent monarchy), representing the ideals of the nation and the founding of a monarchy that is benevolent to its people.[4]
Supporters | Supporting the shield on either side are two Canada geese. They represent the defense of sovereignty and the adaptability of Sancratosia. The bird is also present in the ceremonial territory of the Principality and is the national bird.[5]
Mantle | The entire coat of arms is surrounded by the mantle. By encompassing all the elements of the coat of arms, it represents the entire nation and its unity.[6] |
Use
The greater version of the Coat of arms is the most widely used official symbol. It features on the official seal of Sancratosia surrounded by the words "La Prinsia de Sancratosia". It is also the main feature on the Princely flag, used when in the presence of a Sancratosian official such as the Minister of State or the Sovereign Princess. Most documents and official letters also feature the greater Coat of arms.
The lesser version of the coat of arms is used mostly by the government. It appears on the cover of passports, and on passport stamps.
