The Registry of Content Rating of Sancratosia (Lingua Franca Nova: Repertorio de gradi de contenida de Sancratosia) is the governmental agency responsible for the content rating in the Principality of Sancratosia.

It is an administrative entity responsible to the Ministry of Society under the Department of Culture.

Rating system

The Sancratosian Registry of Content Rating rates all works which are to be published and distributed, such as films, television programs or video games.

The Sancratosian Registry of Content Rating does not cut sequences from films, television programs or video games. Ratings are given to the format provided by the production company. Works that are not rated cannot be distributed in any format. Such works usually feature inhumane elements such as sexual exploitation.

Classifications

Content rating is done with a unified classification with age restrictions applying similarly for different mediums. Depending on the medium, classification may come with different labels or pictograms.

Film classifications

Film classifications apply to projections in cinema and for the sell of film material. Ratings from "PA" to "18" may be accompanied by complementary indications.

Former system

The former system was in use from its inception in 2022 until 2024. It was a unified system with labels applied to all works.

Because most of its content is imported from Québec, Sancratosia's rating system was previously solely based on the province's Régie du cinéma rating system with some modifications. One of the main differences between the two systems was exclusion of the complementary indications used in Québec. Instead, two categories were created, the 8 rating which was equivalent to the Général affixed with the Déconseillé aux jeunes enfants and the P rating which was equivalent to the 18 ans et plus affixed with the Sexualité explicite.
