The Registry of Content Rating of Sancratosia (Lingua Franca Nova: Repertorio de gradi de contenida de Sancratosia) is the governmental agency responsible for content rating in the Principality of Sancratosia. It operates under the administrative oversight of the Ministry of Society under the Department of Culture.
Rating system
The Sancratosian Registry of Content Rating assesses all works intended for publication and distribution, including films, television programs, and video games. The agency assigns ratings without editing the content itself; ratings are based on the versions provided by the production companies. Unrated works, typically those containing inhumane elements such as sexual exploitation, cannot be distributed in any format.
Classifications
Sancratosia employs a unified classification system with age restrictions applicable across various media. Depending on the medium, the classification may include different labels or pictograms.
Film classifications
Film classifications apply to cinema projections and the sale of film materials. Ratings from "PA" to "18" may include additional indications.
Television classifications
Television classifications apply to all programs. Pictograms indicating the classification are displayed throughout the broadcast, except for programs rated "General Public." Some classifications impose specific broadcasting restrictions. Live broadcasts, such as newscasts or sporting events, are generally classified as "General Public," and broadcasters often practice self-censorship.
There are five categories:
- General public
- Can be broadcast at all times.
- Not advised to people under the age of 10

Former system
The former content rating system was in use from its inception in 2022 until 2024. Initially, Sancratosia's rating system was based on Quebec's Régie du cinéma rating system, with some modifications. The main differences included the exclusion of complementary indications used in Quebec. Instead, two unique categories were created: the "8" rating, equivalent to Quebec's "Général" with "Déconseillé aux jeunes enfants", and the "P" rating, equivalent to Quebec's "18 ans et plus" with "Sexualité explicite".
