The Government Council (Lingua Franca Nova: Consilio de Governa) is the governing body of the Principality of Sancratosia.
It is responsible for the general administration of the state. It is composed of 6 members.
Composition
The Minister of State and the Government Councillors are appointed by the Sovereign Princess and are responsible to her.[a] The Minister of State presides, with a deciding vote, the council. The functions of Minister of State and Government Councillor are mutually exclusive with that of member of the Crown Council. Government Councillors are officially styled as "Government Councillor-Minister" but is often styled as the shortened "Councillor-Minister".

Powers of the Government Council
The Government Council is mandated, according to the Constitution, to discuss the bills proposed by the Sovereign Princess before their presentation to the National Council, the Sovereign Ordinances to be approved by the Sovereign Princess and the Ministerial Decrees proposed by the Minister of State. They can also discuss other policies at the pleasure of the Sovereign Princess.
