The Honourable Order of the Carnation (Lingua Franca Nova: Ordina Onorable de la Cariofilo), is an award bestowed by the Sovereign Princess of the Principality of Sancratosia to recognize exceptional dedication to duty in civic or military service for the Principality of Sancratosia.
It was established, as the Honourable Order of the Chives, on 6 January 2022and changed its name and mission on 21 May 2023 . Recipients were retained in the renamed order even though the mission of the order changed significantly.
Its three classes are the Commander (COC), the Officer (OOC) and the Member (MOC). Prior to the changes, it was one of the two awards that had 5 classes.
The medal features a graphical representation of a carnation flower on a tiered green, white and green background, surrounded by the motto of the Order, Per la dedica a debe en servi, on a cross.
So far, 1 person have been inducted into the Order.
