The Medal for Innovation and Creativity, officially the Cornelis George Boeree Medal for Innovation and Creativity (Lingua Franca Nova: Medalia Cornelis George Boeree per la Inova e la Creosia) is an award bestowed by the Sovereign Princess of the Principality of Sancratosia to recognize the innovative and/or the creative innovations in Sancratosia and the world.

It was established on 14 January 2022 by Princess Cloe on the eve of George Boeree Day, a public recreational day in Sancratosia.[1] The first recipients were unveiled on 15 January 2022.

Design

The medal features the face of George Boeree, the creator of Lingua Franca Nova, the official language of Sancratosia. It is surrounded by the following inscriptions : Medalia Cornelis George Boeree per la Inova e la Creosia (English: Cornelis George Boeree Medal for Innovation and Creativity), on the upper half, and Sancratosia on the lower half. The ribbon represents the five colours present on the flag of Lingua Franca Nova : blue, green, yellow, orange and red.

The medal has been awarded to 5 individuals so far.

On 15 January 2022 the following individuals became the inaugural recipients of the medal:[2]

On 21 August 2022, during the awards ceremony of Digi Micro Summit, one individual was awarded the medal.
