The Autovia R1, also known as Scarlet Road 1, is the second busiest Autovia. With a length of 15.2 km (9.4 mi), it connects Cussex Region and Main Suwarnakarta via A743 with Camp Hastons and Camp Ashton military bases. It is managed by the Cussex Road and Highway Authority. This autovia road serves the suburbs of Cibubur, Pondok Gede, Camp Hastons and finally Camp Ashton. Previously this road serves journeys to St. John, but subsquently closed after the religion-based incident on AIM quorum that involves the Chairman and rejuvenated as de-militarized zone (DMZ).
The R1 is considered as the Auxillary route of the A743, but sometimes referred to be the inter-connected loop line from both of the military strongholds.

The R1 paid in unique way by using gantry that automatically charges the driver via bank account. This also ensures the electronic law enforcement system for working properly.

Accidents and Incidents
May 28, 2014 - A Suzuki Splash veered uncontrollably to oncoming traffic and collided to 3-4 motorcycles, and crashed to a tree. At that time the President of Indokistan, Rayhan Haikal, enroute back to Camp Hastons to picked his sister up. Luckily his Skywave (lp: 27GPSZ|F 6803 KY) and himself away from the collision course, 7 people injured. After that, all governmental vehicle that frequently travels the road must have a Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) and Traffic Proximity Warning System (TPWS); or extra attention for the riders. The road section now limited to 60–70 km/h (37-44 mph) and horn codes are mandatory to increase awareness of the users.
