Taxation in New Eiffel

New Eiffel government is responsible for collecting taxes in New Eiffel. Taxation can also be payed at the either the local government or at some government owned banks, sush as the The Official ZedBank o’ Ex New Finland and New Eiffel and Biggo Banks. Taxes make up almost 50% of the government’s revenue, and around 10% of the total economy.

The tax system in is defined as "residence-based" since tax payers residing in New Eiffel are taxed on their income irrespective of its source.

Corporations are also not taxed, however the government plans to introduce company tax by the end of 2019 or early 2020.
