There are two main types of elections in the Principality of New Eiffel - local elections and general elections. The former are used to elect Mayors for each city, also known as mayoral elections. General elections are held once every year between 15 – 25 December, ending on Christmas Day unless all votes have been cast before than. It was announced in late December 2019 that having a mayoral election for all three cities would be considered for sometime in 2020. General elections use Instant-runoff voting.

General elections

As per tradition, each new prime minister is elected in a different location. Each prime minister serves a one year term, and may be re-elected for another year.

Upcoming

The next locations have been planned for the 2020 and 2021 elections.
