Article 1

This Constitution shall hereby act as the absolute law of Sorrenia, without subjection to any form of change or alteration.

This Constitution shall only be rendered null and void through the unanimous consent of both His Royal Majesty, the King of Sorrenia and Dradelia, and the King's Council of Sorrenia.

Article 2

His Royal Majesty, the King of Sorrenia and Dradelia, and hitherto any term used to refer to said being, is granted primacy by God in determining and applying the will of the Sorrenian people.

God's will is hereby made manifest through the royal status of His Majesty King Ronald the First, and subsequently his chosen heir and his continued successors.

Article 3

His Majesty is thus granted the authority to create or disband any subsidiary organisation tasked with the management of Sorrenia. Exception only is granted to the King's Council and Papal Directorate, neither of which shall ever be subject to disbandment and both of which shall exist upon the full formulation of This Constitution.

Article 4

His Majesty is thus granted the authority to appoint and dismiss any and all members from any and all subsidiary organisation tasked with the management of Sorrenia. Exception only is granted to the King's Council and Papal Directorate; the former shall not be appointed nor dismissed by His Majesty, and the latter shall not be dismissed without evidence of illegality.

His Majesty is thus granted the authority to act as the Supreme Adjudicator, applying the entirety of Sorrenian law.

His Majesty is thus granted the authority and right to levy and alter tax.

His Majesty is thus granted the authority and right to seize private goods, placing such goods into the common ownership of the state machinery.

Article 5

The King's Council shall be an elected body, determined in membership by the counties of Sorrenia.

Article 6

That electoral method through which the King's Council shall be elected shall be determined by a referendum of the Sorrenian people only.

Article 7

The King's Council shall be vested legislative power concerning social matters; on such affairs, His Majesty shall lack any veto power.

Article 8

The King's Council shall act as the sole determinant of the boundaries of the Kingdom of Sorrenia, and shall as such be granted the power and authority to create new territorial claims and alter existing ones.

Article 9

The Papal Directorate shall be an appointed body, determined in membership by His Majesty's prerogative.

Article 10

Only those in communion with the Roman Catholic Church shall be permitted to sit on the Papal Directorate.

Article 11

The Papal Directorate shall permanently consist of five members, excluding His Majesty.

Article 12

The Papal Directorate shall be vested legislative power concerning ecclesiastic matters and the application of doctrine; on such affairs, His Majesty shall possess a veto.

Article 13

Prior to bringing a bill to a vote in the Papal Directorate, the proposer must cite both Scripture and the Catechism as justification.

Article 14

His Majesty shall act as the head of state, and as such shall act as the head of the Royal Army and any subsidiary branches.

Article 15

His Majesty shall be subject to all Sorrenian laws.

Article 16

Should a citizen break a law, they shall be subject to a hearing by the Royal Court, who shall determine guilt and subsequent punishment. At any point, His Majesty is capable of intervening to determine guilt and subsequent punishment, through his judicial wisdom granted upon him by God.

Article 17

His Majesty's pardon shall be available to all Sorrenians and non-Sorrenians, with the explicit exception of Himself. Should His Majesty break a law, the Royal Court shall act as a final determinant of guilt and punishment.

Article 18

Members of the Royal Court shall be appointed by the King's Council, and can be dismissed upon a secondary vote.

Article 19

The Royal Court shall act as the sole interpreter of Sorrenian law.

Article 20

This Constitution is thus fully formulated.
