Occitania has participated in the Microvision Song Festival four time since its debut in the second edition in 2016. Occitania's finished twice in second place in 2016 and 2017. On the fourth edition in 2018, Occitania wins the contest with the song Ganas de matar by La Prohibida.

Participations

Occitania entered the Microvision Song Festival for the first time at the 2016 with the song "Arde Paris", performed by Mireille Mathieu in Spanish and finished second.
In 2017, Helly Luv, a Kurdish-Finnish singer has sing Risk it all. Occitania received the greater number of "twelve points" (four), received points from all the contestants except the winner and organizer Antares and UEGG. In 2018, Occitania wins the contest with the song Ganas de matar by La Prohibida. Occitania was the participating country with the highest ratio at 1.66 and the most cumulative points between 2016 and 2018. Ration that was lost following the 5th place in the 2019 edition.

In 2016,TV OC has product the first occitanian final to determine the participant. This final was called Microvision 2016 : Départ pour Rino Island.

2017

For its second participation, TV OC improved his selection by cutting the vote into three parties, a twitter poll, a televoting and the vote of other micronations. This year, the national final was called the Music Festival.

2018 - present

MicroClub

Due to the enthusiasm of the contest to the Occitanias, a "MicroClub" was set up in each edition. The "MicroCub" is a fanzone in which the viewers meet to see the contest. The first in 2017 takes place in Shalom. In 2018, the MicroClub was located in Babougrad.
