The Gardeland Civil War was a national conflict in the Kingdom of Gardeland. On the 10th of January 2016, Socialist Republicans who desired the removal of the monarchy formed a new, 'government-in-exile' type country, the Republic of Gardeland.
Since then, the Republic has gradually been expanding the area under its control with the help of a number of intermicronational entities, notably The Red Alliance, in spite of the number of micronations that have issued support to the monarchy, most notably the Nationalist Republic of the North Atlantic, the population of which voted for military intervention in Gardeland on the monarchy's behalf, and the New Gadsden Empire which without any vote intervened in the war on the monarchy's behalf.

International Statements on the War
That's a thing? Okay.
— Mememaster-General Horatio Eden
This is just hilarious, I never knew people could stage a war like this and say it was real.
— General-Secretary Neasa
The Democratic Republic of Cinnamon Creek will not be part of any 'con war', and suggests to any country still involved to withdraw from it before they ruin their countries' reputations or what's left of it.
— Ministry of State
When I first stumbled upon this page, I laughed at the pure ridiculousness of this "war". This is obviously a con and I strongly advise every belligerent on either side of this "conflict" to withdraw and save what is left of their reputation. I and the Imperial government denounce both sides of this ridiculous conflict, and once again, urge everyone to pull out of this "war".
