Timeline of Occitanian history

This is the timeline of the Popular Union of Occitania, showing the most important events happened to the micronation.

2015

September

• 16th - A communist revolution overthrows the former regime and this new country is create.

October

• From 13 October 2015 until 12 November 2015, the Popular Union of Occitania used the Lirint of Hashima as official currency.

November

• 9th - Occitania referendum 2015.
• 12th - After the end of relations between Occitania and Hashima, the permiss to can use the Lirint of Hashima has been denied to Occitania.
• 14th - Youssoupov-Hatikva Oblast and Sobrarbe-Politkovskaïa Oblast have joined the union.
• 22th - Occitania elections 2015.

2016

February

• 6th - The union leaves the United Micronations (2015).

April

• 9th - The Palmola Oblast join the union.

May

• 7th - The Autonomous Catalan Oblast and the Autonomous Medoc Oblast join the union.
• 22th - An election was held to renew the Soviet Suprême.

June

• 5th - The country sign a peace treaty with Fitberland.
• 11th - The country sign a peace treaty with Polanda.
• 16th - The country sign a peace treaty with Arcadia.
• 18th - The country sign a peace treaty with Toyoshihara.
• 23th - The Autonomous Catalan Oblast became the Republic of Three Flowers and gets an extreme autonomy.
• 27th - The country sign a peace treaty with Gardeland.

July - August

• 28th - Three new federal subjects join the union : Liturgical Oblast of Kerem Shalom, Kraï of New-Ingolstadt and Verd Territory.
• 30th - The Time Bank was created.
• 4th - The Occitanian Agency for International Development was created.

October

• 1th - Occitania create his declaration of independence.
• 15th - The index INSO was created on the model of Vigipirate.
• 16th - A referendum was held: Occitania referendum 2016. On the same day, two new political parties were created the Democratic Reform and the Democratic Union of Occitania.
• 18th - The Weather Alert was created.
• 25th - The Republic of Marlo joined the union. Marlo is the most populated subject federal the most largest and have an extrem autonomy.

November

• 6th - A new religion is revealed: The Violetism.
• 8th - With the Aeternian Empire, Occitania sign a pact. On the same day, Marlo is expelled from the union.
• 19th - The union begins his space program on November 19.
• 22th - The Socialist Party wins the Occitania elections, November 2016‎ and Babou Chkaya is relected for a fourth mandate.

December

• 30th - The union became member of the International Agricultural Development Pact.

2017

January

• At the beginning of 2017, the country is paralyzed by an influenza epidemic.
• 29th - The Operation Rosa is launched.

February

• 3th - The Autonomous Medoc Oblast is hit by the Storm Leiv.
• 7th - Creation of the Occitanian Ambassador to Lithuania
• 8th - Kraï of Novolitova was created and joined the union.
• 14th - Few days later, the Republic of North Farrar join the UPO but was exepelled few days later.

March

• 1 - Begining of the "desovietization"
• 14 - 15th - Occitania is a neutral country. One day later, the first One-year plans is launched.

April

• 2th - The Muro is replaced by the Occitanian Franc.
• 14th - The UPO launch the Operation St Louis.
• 17th - The Occitania Herald is created.
• 23rd - Occitania referendum, April 2017 - A new flag is adopted.
• 24th - Autonomous Carpetania Oblast joined the union.
• 26th - Creation of the Occitanian Ambassador to Spain.
• 26th - Autonomous Kambagrad Oblast joined the union.

May

• 3rd - Creation of the Occitanian Ambassador to Venezuela.
• 3rd - Republic of Tagtazabar joined the union.
• 7th - Occitania referendum, May 2017 - A new constitution is adopted.
• 8th - Virtual sport is banned. New coat of arms and motto. The occitanian application as observer member of the GUM has been approved.
• 22nd - Occitanian general election, May 2017
• 24th - Babou Chkaya is elected President of Occitania by the Vergadering. Creation of the Government Chkaya II.
• 27th - Occitania finished second in the Microvision 2017.

June

• 3rd - 2017 Tagtabazar presidential election
• 18th - Himeji joined the union.
• 21st- First adjustment of the Government Chkaya II.

July

• 1st - The Palatinate of Monkey Bay and the Republic of Oslovia joined the union.
• 6th - Creation of the "State" federal status. On the same day Maltemps moved from Oblast to State federal status.
• 7th - Shalom moved from Oblast to State federal status.
• 9th - Nata River and Palmola moved from Oblast to State federal status. The Oblast federal status is abolished. Aragon, Carpetania, Kambagrad and Medoc moved from Autonomus Oblast to State federal status. Lyudi, New-Ingolstadt and Novolitova moved from Kraï to State federal status. The Kraï federal status is abolished. Highland moved from Field to State federal status. The Field federal status is abolished.
• 16th - Occitania joined the GUM.
• 19th - Monkey Bay and Himeji moved from Palatinate to State federal status. The Palatinate federal status is abolish. Oslovia moved from Republic to State federal status.
• 30th - Creation of the Occitanian Commonwealth.

August

• 17th - A new government is formed.

October

• 19th - Sezentrania joined Occitania.
• 27th - Beginning of the Sezentrania Crisis.
• 30th - End of the Sezentrania Crisis.

November

• 12th - Three Flowers presidential election, 2017
• 22nd - Occitanian general election, November 2017
