Janus was awarded the Order of the Lion in May 2019 for his bravery and contribution to politics.

Political career

Janus established the Yellow Party and the Socialist Yellow Party on 12 September 2018. Janus dissolved the Socialist Yellow Party on 24 December, one day before the end of the 2018 General Election. In an interview, Janus stated "I dissolved the Socialist Yellow Party because I simply changed my political views. The Yellow Party will now be my main party." Following the dissolution of the Socialist Yellow Party, the Socialist Scandinavian Party gained all four of its seats after a parliament vote. This was decided since it was the only other socialist party at the time. Janus supports free speech, and proposed the speech act which was passed on 19 September 2019. Janus was made a delegate to the Grand Unified Micronational on 18 July 2019, and optionally stepped down on 10 September.

Zabëlle I abdicated on 20 June, and Janus was coronated and became Janus I, Prince of New Eiffel. Janus granted Zabëlle the substantive title of "Duke of Hsed" after his abdication. He reigned until the dissolution of New Eiffel on 1 November
