The Pianeta was the currency unit of the Federal Republic of St.Charlie. The currency was created in the newborn Republic by founder Alexander Reinhardt and later developed by Whisky I. The plural form was still Pianeta and one Pianeta was subdivided into 100 cents (Italian:centesimi).

Banknotes and coins were designed by Alexander Reinhardt. All bank notes show significant people in the November revolution and in the Federal Republic. The existing bank notes were for 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 500 Pianeta, although the last one has got only 2 exemplairs. The only existing coin (although it was never created) was the ½SCP coin.

Background

After the Novembre Revolution, the government began issuing paper money bearing the title "Banconota Federale", later called with it's current name. To begin with, there were 1 and 5 Pianeta notes, to which 20 Pianeta notes were occasionally added from December. The government later issued 100 Pianeta banknotes.

In 2009, with the April Exhibition, the government again completed the notes, this time simply by creating and issuing the 20 and 50 Pianeta notes. Later, the 500 note was created, but the main file was lost, so it was decided to suspend its production.
