The Senyan vontar is the official currency of the Democratic Environmental Society of Senya. First plans for the currency were drawn up in November 2010, but were later suspended. In November 2011, plans to print the currency were announced for December 13, 2011 were announced, but never materialised. The currency was first printed on January 26, 2012, after 22 months of Senya using it's macronational currency, the Great British Pound (£/GBP).
