Shezan Khan is a Bangladeshi-Imrulian journalist and litterateur who is currently serving and law minister of Imruland since 16 August 2024. He previously served as the deputy governor on November 2024 and the deputy speaker of the Parliament of Imruland from 27 March 2024 to 26 June 2024. He also served as the minister of science and technology and the minister of public house & working in different times. He was awarded the Brobel Prize, the highest civilian award of Imruland in the field of Literature, on 30 September 2024.
Early life and education
Shezan Khan was born on November 29, 2006 on Mymensingh, Bangladesh. Later he was transferred to Dhaka. He completed his high school education from the Shamsul Hoque Khan School and College (SHKSC) in 2023. He is completing college education from the Dhaka City College.
Career in Imruland
Shezan Khan joined Imruland as a member of the Parliament of Imruland on November 2023. He was appointed as the minister of science & technology on 27 January 2024 in the cabinet of Prime Minister Ishtiak Mahfuz Abdullah and served until the end of Ishtiak's premiership on 14 June 2024. He was appointed as the acting deputy speaker the of Parliament of Imruland on 27 March 2024 when the main deputy speaker Leone was dismissed from office on the orders of the Supreme Court of Imruland for contempt of court. He served on the post until 26 June 2024. He was appointed as the minister of housing & public works on the cabinet of Mohammad Noyon on 26 June 2024.[1] He was transferred to the ministry of law on 16 August.[2] He was appointed as the Deputy Governor of Imruland for November 2024 on 31 October 2024 succeeding Mithila Mimi.[3] Khan was awarded the Brobel Prize 2023-24, the highest civilian award of Imruland in the field of Literature, on 30 September 2024 for his literary practice through the creation of poetic poetry at different times, including writing extraordinary poems about King Imrul I.[4]
Other activities
Shezan Khan is the founder of SHKSC Literature Club. Former Prime Ministers Safat Zareef Hassan and Nihal Ahmed are also members of the club. He is also working as a staff reporter in the Daily Chetonay Bangladesh (DCB) since 12 January 2023. He is also serving as the Mymensingh district representative of the Sahittobidda Prokashon.
